We are growing… New faces at the Farm! Katie Hanley, is our new Assistant. Katie is from Mersey Point and has been out of the work force for the past couple of years raising her twin daughters and 5 year old daughter. She is very excited to be joining the team at Millennium Gardens Farms. Katie is bringing great ideas and creativeness to Millennium Gardens Farm & Hummingbird Herbals to help take the businesses to the next level. Stephanie Keddy, is currently in her 3 rd year of the nutrition program at Mount Saint Vincent University and pursuing a career as a Registered Dietitian. She grew up in the Annapolis Valley where the exposure to agriculture had sparked her interest in nutrition, the product life cycle, and the promotion of healthy living. Stephanie looks forward to applying her knowledge of nutrition at Millennium Gardens Farm as well as learning a great deal of information and having the opportunity to gain new skills that she will be able to apply in her future practices. Amanda Noade, is a recent graduate of Natural Resources Environmental Technology Program at NSCC Lunenburg. Amanda is at Millennium Gardens Farm for 5 weeks to complete her work term. Originally from Saint John NB, she and her family are taken-back by the immense Natural beauty of Nova Scotia and are hoping to build their lives here. She is very excited for the opportunity to join the team at Millennium Gardens Farm and hopes to meet lots of new faces. Samantha Laplante, is a Co-Op Student from Liverpool Regional High School. She is in grade 11 and is completing 100 hours working at Millennium Gardens Farms to earn credit towards completion of school. Samantha hopes to enter into Accounting after graduating from High School.
