DELIVERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

If you would like to sponsor a family and deliver this box yourself,

please follow these instructions:

1. WHAT TO PACK: One box of food feeds a family of up to four people. Larger families require more boxes of food. If you’re delivering this box yourself, you can use our food list as a general guideline for a family of four, or customize the contents any way you like. Don’t forget to ADD A HOLIDAY MEAT (ham, turkey, etc.) for your sponsored family!

2. DELIVERY CONTACTS: Please contact Jaimie Lively ([email protected], 570-856-7735) to receive the name and contact information for a Madison/Limestone County family. Please contact Heather Kingsley ([email protected], 256-426-1592) to get the name and contact information for a Madison City family.

3. WHAT TO SAY: Most of our recipients are not aware their names have been submitted for a Holiday Food Box. Contact your family and (a) explain who you are, that you’re from Asbury Church, and that someone has recommended this family to receive a box of holiday food; and (b) arrange a time to deliver the food box to them. If God leads you, feel free to share your faith with the family, pray for them, or spend time with them.

4. FOLLOW-UP: After the Holiday Food Box delivery is complete, contact your original delivery coordinator (Jaimie Lively or Heather Kingsley) once again with the family’s name so she can mark the delivery completed. If you could not complete delivery, try again, and if still unsuccessful, email the details to your delivery coordinator so she can attempt to find correct contact information for you, or arrange for someone else to deliver the box(es).

The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.Proverbs 22:9
