Come join us for a fascinating evening with Peter Jackson, CEO of the Melbourne Football Club from 2013 to 2018. Peter’s career in the AFL has spanned more than 20 years with roles including Chair-man of AFL Victoria and AFL SportsReady. He also spent more than a decade at Essendon as CEO and General Manager through the late 1990s and 2000s. Peter was appointed CEO of Melbourne Football Club in May 2013, with a mandate to lead a total rebuild of the Club, including the football and financial performance, as well as the culture and lead-ership of the club. His achievements at the Club over the past 5 years are truly formidable. Peter has been responsible for overseeing its turnaround from 2 wins and a $3 million reported loss in 2013 to a reported profit in 2017 of almost $1.36 million and playing in a Preliminary Final in 2018. The Club is now looking towards a period of sustained on field success as well as off field commer-cial growth. One of Peter’s greatest legacies has been developing people at the Club, and building a culture for creating a winning team. The Club now earns respect on and off the field and has also earned the reputation of being a leader in women’s football as well. The Rotary Club of Hampton are hosting this unique opportunity to hear first-hand from one of the great leaders in AFL! Bookings are essential for this evening. Date: 6.30pm, Tuesday, 13 November Venue: Milanos, The Esplanade, Brighton Tickets: $35 (including dinner)
