October 16, 2019Our Chamber w ill beparticipating in a Meet-n-Move Luncheon w ith theButler County and MercerArea Chambers ofCommerce on Wednesday,October 16, 2019 from11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Theevent w ill take place atGrove City College in theMorledge Room atRathburn Hall.

The event w ill consist oforganized netw orkingmuch like speed dating.Participants w ill eat eachcourse of their lunch at adifferent table engagingtheir fellow table mates inconversation about theirbusiness and themselves.This is a very effectivew ay to spend your lunch.The cost is $30 per person

Black Friday 2019Every year the Chamberorganizes Christmas in thePark w hich has quicklybecome a favorite holidaytradition in our community.

This is a drive along lightedChristmas display exhibitthat gets businesses,organizations, families andindividuals to participate.The displays begin being litand open to the public onBlack Friday each yearand continue nightlythrough January 2nd.

Christmas in the Parkattracts many and displaysare seen by hundreds ofpeople throughout the timethey are up. This isw onderful advertising foryour business and youshould definitely considerparticipating! The Downtown Sounds Concert SeriesComes To A Close For 2019August Concerts Were RockingThe 2019 Dow ntow n Sounds Concert Series presented by Grove CityRealty continued on Thursday, August 8th w ith Redefined. This localduo played a lot of crow d favorites and did not disappoint.

The Dow ntow n Sounds Concert Series w as next held on Thursday,August 22nd w ith Midnight Blue. This local band delighted the audiencew ith country and classic rock favorites. A great time w as had by alland w as a f itting end to the concert series.

Get your reservation in now to be a vendor at Grove City's 8th AnnualCollege & Commerce Mixer. Set this year for Tuesday, September 10thfrom 5:30 - 7 PM in Rathburn Hall at Grove City College, this event bringstogether the business community w ith the students at Grove CityCollege. This is a w onderful opportunity to engage underclassmen andget them to do business w ith you during their time at the College. It isalso the perfect chance to encourage the upperclassmen to intern w ithyour business or organization or potentially hire them for careers youhave available.

Those interested in being a vendor are asked to register soon asvendor space is limited and goes quickly! Students w ho have attendedin the past have stated that they w ould love to have vendors beinteractive w ith them. They are interested in seeing or tasting samplesrepresenting the different businesses, w ould love coupons or freeoffers to encourage them to visit the businesses, and also w ould loveany giveaw ays. These are all simple things to encourage you to have amore successful and enjoyable mixer w ith the students.

Multi-Chamber Mixer at GC Country ClubThursday, August 29, 2019Grove City Chamber again organized the Annual Multi-Chamber Mixerheld each year in Grove City. This Multi-Chamber Mixer broughttogether members of 5 neighboring Chambers and organizations acrossButler and Mercer Counties.

This event brought together over 100 members from the participatingChambers and organizations w hich included Butler County, GreenvilleArea, Grove City Area, and Shenango Valley Chambers of Commerceas w ell as the Slippery Rock Business Association. This amazingevening of netw orking show ed just how w ell our Chambers w orktogether.

This organization is geared tow ardsprofessionals w ho live and/or w ork in the the Grove City area w ho areyoung or young at heart. The group has recently become active againand w ill soon meet regularly in social gatherings, philanthropic activitiesand netw orking events.
