The Innovation Conference showcases innovative progress in workforce development and throughout the academic, corporate, and government spheres, transforming the future of health information and healthcare.
The conference features two half-days of presentations, and interaction by recognized, dynamic leaders who create and advance innovation within the industry. The conference also brings together leaders and networks of exceptional thinkers, providing new opportunities for collaboration on innovation in healthcare. Selected professionals from the industry will introduce new concepts and innovative technologies, and have an opportunity to receive the first annual Innovator Award.

AHIMA’s 84th Convention and Exhibit—the health information management (HIM) event of the year—has everything HIM professionals need to excel while facing the industry’s opportunities, challenges, and changes.At this year’s convention, attendees will explore current and emerging issues affecting HIM and learn how to innovatively implement some of the most important changes in HIM history. Expect educational tracks focused on ICD-10, HIE, ACO, privacy and security, CAC, meaningful use, clinical documentation improvement, EHR implementation, physician practice, revenue cycle, and other emerging issues (see page 11 for a full list of educational tracks).
