AE visits all villages himself personally once a fortnight as per a pre-drawnProgramme. Fixed day in each village every fortnight.
(No public contact for the outsourced staff)
AE conducts verification of houses and records M Book.Announces the list/amount payable in the open.
Dy EE cross checks at least 10% of M Books and confirms. There after,PDs confirm payment online.

Changes brought-in, to improve the deliverysystem in the implementation of INDIRAMMA
Housing
Payments only through individual accounts. Beneficiaries are givenoption to open their account either in bank or post office dependingupon their convenience.
VO payments dispensed from December 2009.
To make the system very transparent and make the beneficiaries aware
of their total eligibility of amount and materials actually issued, apassbook with all the details have been given to each beneficiary.
Pay slips are being given to beneficiaries for each payment.
Fortnightly fixed tour programme by AEs.
Payments released by the DEE, directly to the beneficiary account.
24 Hour Call Centre with Toll Free No 1100 for Complaint Redressal.
Established Monitoring Unit (SMU) for dealing exclusively with all thecases related to irregularities brought to the notice through call centre /Newspaper/ any other form.

Cement
160 lakh MTs of cement is approximately required forabout 65 lakh houses.
Negotiations with cement companies were held at thehighest level in the Government i.e Honble ChiefMinister/Honble Minister and the rates were approvedfor WSHP.
The Present rates of procurement is as follows: SKLM,VZM Rs155.50 per bag VSP,CTR Rs153.50 per bag KMM,NLG Rs133.50 per bag

ration card numbers are not repeated in the list now submitted
beneficiaries under INDIRAMMA three phases are not covered
againensure that the ration card number is a valid white ration card as
per Civil Supplies Depts key register data
In 9 districts, (VSP, EG, PKM, CTR, KNL, MBNR, MDK, ADL , WGL)
the lists are more than 20,000 and are requested to be appropriatelyre-verified to ensure only eligible are covered.
Submit soft copy lists for RC houses in SKL,VZM,GNT,YSR,ANTPand balance lists in NLG, MBNR, ADL and KMM.

Integrated Survey
Government have taken up integrated Survey of individualbenefit schemes of Ration Cards, Pensions and Housing.
The Survey is undertaken by Civil Supplies Department.
Housing beneficiaries data of 64.42 lakhs was sent for
survey, out of which, 12.60 lakhs Housing beneficiariesidentified as doubtful during preliminary survey.
Their details have been placed before Gram Sabha.
District Collectors have furnished the final list of ineligible
beneficiaries after verification of the details in the Grama Sabha.
Final lists of ineligible beneficiaries received from all districtsand disabled.

Infrastructure for 30 projects in 26 Municipalities in 2Phases. The financing Pattern is, GOI 80%, GOAP 10%& ULB 10%. The Unit cost of the dwelling Unit is @Rs40,00o/- and 80,000/- in case of independent houses
and Rs 1.31 lakhs to Rs 2.00 lakhs for G+ housesdepending upon the site conditions.
10 projects in 7 municipalities where land is scarce are
taken up in G+ pattern through Contractors/Deptexecution and in the balance 19 municipalities housesare taken up in Independent pattern throughbeneficiaries.

RAJIV AWAAS YOJANA
The Government of India has launched Rajiv AwasYojana (RAY), which envisage making India Slum-free by 2014.It aims to upgrade housing and civic infrastructure
for the settlement of the poor in urban areas, andmake adequate urban land households in the urbanareas.
Slum-free Plan of Action There are 125 ULBs in the State including
Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB). The Statehas proposed to take up 25ULBs during 2010-11, 63ULBs in 2011-12 and 37 ULBs in 2012-13.
