Personal Statement
I consider myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. I show pride in all the work I do, I possess excellent verbal communication skills and am able to relate to a wide range of people. All these skills have been enhanced during all the work experiences I have gained over the years. In short, I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and eager to learn.

Clinical Support Rem Systems Ltd (New Zealand) February 2015- Present.
Product responsibilities: Tornier, Wright Medical and Linvatec Sports
Medicine products, MTF and AAP. Trained in Tornier shoulder arthroplasty
products such as the Aequalis Ascend Flex convertible shoulder system, Simpliciti shoulder system, Aequalis Reversed II and Aequalis Reverse Facture.
Trained in Tornier elbow arthroplasty Latitude and Latitude EV system.
Trained in Tornier Salto mobile and fixed ankle replacement, Stabilis plating system, MaxLock Extreme, EdgeLock Calcaneal sliding osteotomy plate, Mini MaxLock Extreme plating system, wave plate, Forefoot set etc.
All Wright Medical products, including extremities and Biologics.
Trained in Conmed Linvatec Sports Medicine, including Rotator cuff anchors, Stabilisation anchors, Bicep Tenodesis Anchors and Graftmax for ACL reconstruction.
Trained in MTF tendons and bone allograft. Trained in AAP plating and reconstruction
systems.
Key Responsibilities: Develop strong communication with subject
leaders such as Physicians, Charge nurses, Scrub Nurses, CSSD staff and hospital managers.
Provide clinical support to surgeons and scrub nurses during theatre cases.
Organise in service training to staff members of various hospital groups on our medical products.
Take the lead role in training other sales personnel when products are added to the portfolio.
Continuous company meetings and training to update and obtain in-depth knowledge on the subject of different orthopaedic products and developments.
Expertly guide the user of the equipment and the surgical teams during the use of the company’s product, to ensure successful outcomes for surgeons and patients.

Theatre Practitioner Trauma Orthopaedics Northampton General Hospital (UK) November 2013 – December 2014
Patient preparation for surgery; hand over from ward Nurse as well anaesthetic monitoring.
Ability to monitor vital signs. Identify and hold responsibility for all
instrumentation within the operating theatre ensuring sterile behaviours.
Perioperative checks; swab, instrument and needle count.
Within orthopaedic theatres I am able to independently scrub for a variety of cases including; hip and knee replacements.
Working within trauma theatres I am independently able to scrub for various operations; cannulated hip screws, ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) as well as hemiarthroplasty.
Regular liaising with surgeons and anaesthetists to ensure effective and safe care given.
Embedded excellent patient care and nursing skills, developed throughout my previous
