Big Wall Pant/Shorts
My first design project at Marmot was to work on the Spring 2010 Men’s Sportswear line. The Big Wall style was designed with climbers in mind. Gussets were included in the design for extra mobility as the fabric selected did not stretch. Knees and bottom are reinforced on the pant version. This style has been forecasted to sell very well & has been relisted for the Fall 2010 season.

Deviant Shorts
Working on the Mens’ Sportswear line, I was also responsible for designs in the momentum collection. This collection needed plenty of mobility, comfort, ventilation, reflectivity, and small pockets. Allstyles are constructed of technical fabrics. The Deviant short includes bonded seams to add technical value and durability.

The Windridge SS Shirt incorporates a lot of themomentum line’s characteristics: meshventilation under the arms, reflective logo treatment,& ultra-lightweight, technical fabric that wicks away moisture. The challenge in this top was to master the desired fit and create interesting,new style lines for the consumer.
