Steel Butterfly Valves

Ductile Iron Butterfly Valves with 316 Stainless Steel Disc

All Legend Butterfly Valves are ductile iron, epoxy coated and 100% factory tested. A primary advantage of a butterfly valve is that it has a narrow body to fit into a piping system.

The Legend Butterfly Valves also have an extended neck to allow for insulation without interference from the handle. The bubble-tight shut-off butterfly valve has an investment cast

316 stainless steel disc.

Each butterfly valve uses a lever handle assembly which completely encases the spring mechanism, protecting it from the environment and potential damage. The handle has ten

positions. It is a quick 90° open and close valve.

The handle assembly fits atop the value hub onto a square stem and held affixed with two bolts. An AISI 410 stainless steel stem runs through the disc which has an upper and lower

shaft; and is sealed by two PTFE bushings for complete isolation from any media. This enhanced design improves the function of the valve.

The handle can be removed and the valve hub will accept standard actuators. The T-365SS and T-367SS lug type can be used for dead end service.
