NEW REGULATIONS TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID19
In order to guarantee the security to all our Guests, Maecò Ortigia B&B has set new regulations to
contrast the spread of Corona Virus and offer a serene Stay to everybody. We invite you to read
carefully the following information and to respect the obligations here reported:
1) THE RECEPTION:
- It is mandatory to wear ALWAYS a mask in the Reception and all common areas and to maintain the
interpersonal distance of one meter at least.
- During the Registration you will be asked to measure the Temperature, by using a laser thermometer.
- The desk has a Plexiglas screen, in order to guarantee the correct distance during the registration.
- In the Reception you will find an hygienic dispenser to sterilize your hand. We invite you to use it
before entering your Room.
- In the Reception you will find also a wastebasket to throw ONLY used masks and gloves. We invite
you to take an ecofriendly action and choose reusable masks and gloves, to limit any waste.
- At the end of EVERY registration, we will disinfect all the used objects (Laptop, desk, chairs, handles)
2) THE STAFF:
Is professional and trained to GUARANTEE a correct and accurate cleaning of the Rooms and common
areas. They will work in line with the regulations of the Italian Government, using the correct protection
and professional cleaning products.
3) HOUSEKEEPING:
-This service is guaranteed daily UNTIL 12:00 (except for a specific request from the Guest to
communicate upon arrival), including all common areas.
- We use ONLY professional cleaning products.
- After EVERY check out, we clean all the rooms and we use a specific machine to sterilize the air.
4) BREAKFAST:
Following the new regulations to avoid the spread of Corona Virus and according to the New Italian
Law, any kind of BUFFET IS FORBIDDEN in 2020. For this reason and to guarantee the security to all
our Guests, Breakfast will be served outside the B&B. You will receive a free Voucher upon arrival to be
used in one of the best Bar of the area.
We hope the new procedures will be appreciated and we invite you to follow them as indicated.
During your time with us, we will do our best to guarantee you the best stay ever, in total security.
