Hopefully you all had an eggcellent Easter break and ready

to get back into the uni groove.

To help you with your upcoming work why not visit the Writ-

ing Mentors.

Writing mentors are experienced and successful students

who provide free personalised study support.

Writing Mentors can answer your questions about researching and writing at university.

Typical questions they can assist with include:

I have so many assignments due all at once, how long should I spend on each one?

How do I start researching my assignment?

I am not sure what I have to do with my task, the question is not clear to me.

How can I plan my essay?

I have written the assignment but I am not sure if it makes sense. Can you read it?

I got a low mark. Can you help me understand how to improve for next trimester?

Can you explain referencing?

..and any other questions you have! If they cannot assist they will direct you to the right place!

They have drop in sessions available during the teaching periods

of Trimester 1, 2 and 3 at your campus or online.

At Burwood Student Residences, we like to reward residents who are regularly making a positive contribution to the Res community.

The following people have shown great commitment to the Res community by helping out during the recent Res vs St Leo’s football match. Nathan Noblet and Liam Pain gave up their time to umpire during the match, while Ben Thom-as helped out with the coaching to ensure everyone got a run. Thank you for your efforts, events couldn’t run smoothly on Res without people giving up their time and effort to help out.

Congratulations to all recipients!

Prizes will be delivered in the mail.
