Did you know ... has joined with Muslim
agencies to warn that more than half the population of the Central
African Republic risk going hungry as a result of instability and
violence across the country? CAFOD, Islamic Relief, Muslim Aid and
the Muslim Charities Forum have launched a joint mission in the
country to help those directly affected by the crisis. By working
together as a Catholic and Muslim charities, we can be of immediate
practical help and also send out a strong message of unity and hope.

Sponsored Walk 2014
The walk was completed in fine weather this year with 48
parishioners taking part. Now is the hard part for the
sponsors who need to hand over their sponsorship

walkers, without them it wouldn’t happen, to the sponsors
and to anyone who helped in any way. There
are some photos in the Church porch.

A woman went into a pet shop wanting a coat
for her dog. “What size?” asked the owner. “I
don’t know,” said the woman, “he’s out in the
car.” “Bring him in then,” he said. “Oh, I can’t,” she
replied. “It’s supposed to be a surprise.”
