Happiness is the smell of freshly baked bread.

INGREDIENTS

21 ounces plain flour, plus extra for dusting

21 ounces wholemeal flour

2 teaspoons salt

1 ¼ tablespoons yeast

2 ½ teaspoons bread improver

23 ½ fluid ounces lukewarm water

1 teaspoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS

1. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and combine well. Make a well in the centre of the mixture and pour in water and oil. Mix ingredients together until you get a dough that feels smooth and a little tacky.

2. Place a sheet of Saran wrap on the dough and allow it to rise for about 30 minutes. It should double in size.

3. Remove Saran wrap. Place dough on a well-floured table surface and cover with flour.

4. Using a knife or spatula, take a portion of the dough and shape it into a round ball, then flatten it with the palm of your hand.

5. Place the dough directly onto the wood-fired oven floor or use a pizza shovel to direct it to a warm position in the oven.

6. Monitor the bread and watch it bake for a couple of minutes — the time will depend on the temperature of the oven and the size of the dough.

Our fabrics are designed specifically for the outdoors, so if you’re looking to change up an existing lounge or daybed, or breathe fresh life into your

boat cushions, our fabrics can be purchased by the lineal yard.

Basics [ bey-siks ] Luxuriously soft and incredibly hard-wearing, our Basics range comprises of woven Sunbrella yarns. These fabrics are shower-proof, easy to clean and fade-resistant. Our Basics are perfect for outdoor use.

Broadcloth [ brawd-klawth, -kloth ] Broadcloth is lightweight and easy to handle, but also very tough and fade-resistant. It is an ideal fabric choice for outdoor cushions, upholstery or drapes.

Canvas [ kan-vuh s ] Canvas is a thick, sturdy fabric ideal for sling chairs and bean bags. Made from 50% recycled acrylic material from the Sunbrella mills in the USA, it is incredibly durable. A great option for almost any outdoor application.

Linens [ lin-uh ns ] Our Linen range is the product of the flax plant that is grown, harvested and milled in Belgium. As part of the weaving process, the Linens have a special outdoor treatment applied to them that is embedded in the fabric. This makes them ideal for outdoor applications, while still holding true to their delicate, natural appearance.

Slub Linens [ sluhb ] Our Slub Linen range from Belgium is woven on an older style loom, giving the fabric a unique ‘slubbiness’. Some may think this is an imperfection, but we see it as being integral to the cloth's beauty. As part of the weaving process, the Slub Linens have a special outdoor treatment applied, making them water repellent and fade-resistant.
