In total 800 New AISI 1020 UNILETS were received from Sigma Co. and inspected. Zero Visible

Defects

All 800 were welded without any issues

PRODUCTIVITY:

NOGEO M/C increased productivity by 41% from 17 to 24 Outlets/Hr on a 400 pc run

TESTING:

Test samples were selected at random and air tested without any visible air leaks (field test

done with soap and water) and cut open and analyzed compared to old outlets

Field Reject Outlet with no thread

Misaligned Outlet causing poor weld penetration

Various quality issues, damaged

outlets, no thread, half-threaded

NEW OUTLETS

TESTED SAMPLES CUT OPEN GOOD WELD PENETRATION, NO PIPE JOINT MISALIGNMENT
