v Construction of New line between Khajuraho and Satna as part of Lalitpur Singrauli project at total cost of

� 2507Crore.

v Doubling from NewKatni Jn to Khanna banjari (47 km) as a part of Katni-Singrauli doubling project at a cost of

� 47Crore.

v Construction of Jukehi chord line at Katni at total cost of � 12.42Crore.

v Katni Grade separator bypass at total cost of � 1000 Crore, which will help in operation of freight and

passenger trains in busy Katni junction area.

v Closure of Level Crossing No. 104 in Bina-Katni and Level crossing No. 354 in Jabalpur-Katni section by

construction of diversion road has been planned at a cost of � 1.2 Crore.

v Development of Khajuraho station as Divyang Friendly facility under Accessible India Campaign .

v Provision of ROB in lieu of LC gate no. 102, 112, 355A, 357 and KM no. 1235 (Mission Chowk, Katni).

B1. Infrastructure Enhancement

v New line from Lalitpur To Khajuraho has been constructed at the cost of 160 km is � 850 crore.

v Augmentation of holding capacity from 120 to 175 locos in Electric loco shed at New Katni Junction at a cost of

� 9.79 crore which will help in running more trains.

v Approach road, extension of platform and boundary wall at Katni Murwara station at a cost of � 3.72 crore.

v Provision of washable apron on PF No.1&2 at Katni- Murwara station at a cost of � 2.46 Crore.

v Additional capacity for repair of wagons provided at New Katni Jn at cost of � 11crore which will be lead to

more efficient running of freight trains.

v Road under bridges provided at Level crossing no.114, 352, 356, 359, 92,97, 90, 103 , 105 and 110.

v Provision of Normal Height Subway in lieu of Level Crossing No. 4 at km 1329 at Khajuraho Yard.v Provision of limited height Sub way with covered approaches in lieu of Level crossings No. 1 between station

Chitta Halt - Rangauli.v Increased sectional speed between New Katni Junction-Katni Murwara (Up) from 50KMPH to 100 KMPH.v Removal of 20KMPH permanent speed restriction on both up and down line in Katni Murwara Yard.v Construction of chord line between Katni South-Katni Murwara station at a cost of � 4.5 crore.

B2. Improvement In Passengers Amenities

v Provision of Time Table Display Board at 18 stations.

v Provision of foot Over Bridge at Katni South station at cost of � 91 Lakh.

v Over head tank at Katni Murwara station completed at total cost of � 4 lakh.

v Conversion of existing goods shed platform into passenger platform with basic passenger amenities at Katni

Murwara station at total cost of � 1.7 Crore.

v Extension of platform for 24 coaches at Katni Murwara station at total cost of � 60 lakh.

v Cover shed provided at Katni South station at the cost of � 1.6 Crore.

v Waiting room is provided at Katni South station at the cost of � 0.85 Crore.

v Provision of cover shed on new passenger platform at Katni Murwara station at total cost of � 48 lakh.

v Platforms of Katni station are extended at the cost of � 50 lakhs.

v Foot over bridge, Toilet for Divyangjan, 15 stainless steel benchs, One water vending machine provided at

Khajuraho station.

v UTS cum PRS at Katni South station

v New PRS building at Katni Station.

v Train No. 22447 Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express 6 days a week to daily from Khajuraho station.
