The Education program in corporategovernance is a joint INSEADand UCGA project. Board Directionis therefore based upon best practices and case studies from INSEAD, London Business School and Harvard. The program is on a par with executiveeducation programs at the best globalbusiness schools.

The 2018 six-day program will be heldin Kyiv according to the followingtimetable:

2 days – September 28th and 29th 2 days – October 19th and 20th 2 days – November 9th and 10th

The course is designed for shareholders,current and future board members, C-level managers and government officials that have responsibility forand influence decisions on corporate governance in private, public companiesand SOEs.

The content of the course should beof special interest to individuals either seeking to establish a board or wishing to improve the performance of an existingboard as a director, owner, investor, executive or regulator.

Ludo Van der Heyden, has been a Professor of Technology and Operations Managementat INSEAD since 1988 and has beenthe INSEAD Chaired Professor in Corporate Governance since October 2010. He is the foundingAcademic Director of INSEAD's Corporate GovernanceInitiative (ICGI) and, with colleagues, leadsthe International Directors Programme, Modern Governancein Banking, and the Value Creation for Owners and Directors programmes. He directed the Advanced Management Program (INSEAD’s most senior general management programme, from 2000 to 2008), the INSEAD Zentrum Leipzig (1994-1999), was co-Dean of INSEAD (1990-1995),and also PhD Director & Associate Deanfor Research (1989-1990).

Frank Dangeard currently serves on the board of Symantec(USA), global leading corporation in cyber security, where

Frank is the only European in the board. Frank is alsoa board member of Royal Bank of Scotland (UK) and

RPX (USA). In recent years, Frank has served on the boards of Crédit Agricole-CIB (France), one of the biggest banking

groups in Europe; EDF (Electricité de France), largest producer and supplier of electricity in Great Britain

and many other listed and non-listed companies. Frank isa “Director-in-Residence” at INSEAD and Chairman of the

International Advisory Council of Hawkamah, the corporategovernance institute of the MENA region, based in Dubai.

FRANK DANGEARD

Harry Korine teaches corporate governance at the London Business School and the Hochschule St. Gallen. He holds B.A. and B.S. degrees from Stanford University, an M.B.A. from UCLA, and a Ph.D. from INSEAD. He has held assistant Professorships on the faculties ofthe London Business School and the Pennsylvania StateUniversity. Has been an adjunct professor at INSEAD.
