Uniform
If students are not in full uniform parents will be contacted so that the issue can be rectified before students attend lessons. This may involve students being sent home. All items of uniform should be clearly marked or labelled.

HomeworkStudent’s responsibilities:• Asking staff if homework is not clear• Completing the Contact Book accurately• Undertaking all homework tasks to the best of her abilities• Giving in homework at the specified times.Parent’s responsibilities:• Helping your child to establish a routine for completing
homework• Creating a quiet space for homework to take place• Ensuring that your child undertakes all tasks as recorded in her
Contact Book; signing Contact Book at the end of each week.• Informing form tutor when your child has had difficulty
completing homework tasks.

Our Expectations
Attendance & Punctuality• 98 - 100% = Excellent Attendance • Please phone us as soon as possible to tell us why your
daughter is absent and when you expect her to return• Only grant days for genuine illness (You will know!)• Do not take holidays in school time – these will not be
authorised• Where possible avoid missing half days for medical/dental
appointments. If this cannot be avoided, ensure that your daughter attends morning registration before leaving site and returns for afternoon registration to avoid an absence mark

Teaching GroupsCognitive Ability Testing (CAT), takes place on Saturday morning 11th July 9 – 11
Majority of subjects are taught in mixed ability groups for the entire year.
Maths will set initially on prior knowledge and adjust later in the term.
Science set at Christmas.
