Craggy Range Napier/ Hastings

Family owned since 1997, Craggy Range was the first in the Southern Hemisphere to adopt making single vineyard wines from multiple regions of the country with vines planted to perfectly suit to the soil and climate. Gimblett Gravels and Te Muna Road are the jewels among the five vineyards of Craggy Range. Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay is located in an area with the perfect growing conditions for the Bordeaux reds and Syrah, while Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough consists of two distinct terraces, one comprising of very old stony soils at a higher altitude, producing exceptional Pinot Noir, and the second lower terrace comprises younger stony soils interlaced with lumps of limestone, providing an excellent environment for Sauvignon Blanc.

A selection of single vineyard wines is available for tasting at the cellar door, or for pairing with classic French cuisine at the Terrôir Restaurant.
