“Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world” St Michael’s Sr Sec School celebrated the International Day of Literacy on 8th September 2020. The aim of highlighting this day for our students was to spread the message as to important literacy is for an individual as well as for the society at large. Celebrating such days is important as it makes the students realize that they cannot just be spectators or advocates of change but can also be instrumental in bringing about that change for progress. Our children of the primary classes took keen interest in learning about this day and also making it meaningful for people around them. They also gave a powerful message advocating eradication of illiteracy.
