According to the indictment, on or about March 31, Rakes, restrained another person under circumstances that exposed that person to a risk of serious physical injury. The indictment also reads that he caused physical injury to another person, and this was his third or subsequent offense within five years. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday. His bond was set at $20,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness. - Mark A. Bright, 42, of 304 W. Main Street in Bradfordsville was indicted for first-degree sexual abuse (two counts) and second-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indictment, on or about March 19, Bright subjected one person to sexual contact who is incapable of con- sent because he or she is less than 12 years old and subjected another person to sexual contact by forcible compulsion. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after her 18th birthday. His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he has no con- tact with the complaining witness. - Damien L. Yantis, 21, of 311 Lake Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, on or about March 18, Yantis trafficked in a con- trolled substance in schedule I or II, a narcotic drug, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. His bond was set at $15,000 with the condition that he uses no alcohol or drugs. - Frankie T. McGowan, 32, of 138 E.L. McGowan in Russell Springs was indicted for first-degree assault. According to the indict- ment, on or about Jan. 21, McGowan caused serious physical injury to another by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument or under circumstances mani- festing extreme indifference to the value of human life by engaging in conduct that created a grave risk of death to another and thereby cause serious physical injury to another. His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000 with the condition that he has no con- tact with the complaining witness. - Jacob White, 21, of 1852 Sulpher Lick Road in New Hope was indicted for first- degree criminal abuse. According to the indict- ment, between July 18, 2011, and Jan. 3, 2012, White abused another person or permitted another person to whom he has custody to be abused and thereby caused serious physical injury or placed a child in a situa- tion that may cause serious physical injury, torture, cruel confinement or cruel pun- ishment to a person under the age of 12. His bond was set at $5,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the vic- tim. - Michael Stephen Helm 23, of 75 Caudill in Lebanon was indicted for theft by deception over $500 and under $10,000 and first- degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, on or about April 29, Helm obtained property or services of another by deception and with intent to deprive the person, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood con- victed of at least two felo- nies after his 18th birthday. His bond was set at $10,000. - Cami L. Pass, 21, of 289 Booker Road in Springfield was indicted for theft by deception over $500 and under $10,000. According to the indictment, on or about April 29, Pass obtained property or services of another by deception and with intent to deprive the person thereof, or she aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000. - Gary Wayne Nix, 46, of Marion Adjustment Center in St. Mary was indicted for first-degree escape, third- degree assault and first- degree persistent felony offender. According to the indictment, on or about March 7, Nix escaped from custody at a deten- tion facility by use of force or threat of force against another person. The indict- ment also reads that he caused or attempted to cause physical injury to a state, county, city or federal peace officer. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday. No bond was set in this case. - John Wright, 45, of Marion Adjustment Center in St. Mary was indicted for second-degree escape and second-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, on or about March 6, Wright escaped from the cus- tody of Marion Adjustment Center. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday. No bond was set in this case. - John H. Fugitt Jr. 22, of Northpoint Training Center in Burgin was indicted for second-degree escape and second-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, on or about March 27, Fugitt escaped from Marion Adjustment Center. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood con- victed of at least one felony after his 18th birthday. No bond was set in this case. - William Nugent, 50, of 825 Scott’s Ridge Road in Raywick was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and sec- ond-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, on or about May 8, 2011, Nugent possessed, manufactured or transported a firearm when he had been convicted of a felony. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood con- victed of at least one felony after his 18th birthday. His bond was set at $1,500. - Bridgett R. Bowman, a.k.a. Bridgett R. Cook, 37, of 180 Gray Fox Ridge in Morehead was indicted for second-degree criminal pos- session of a forged instru- ment (two counts) and theft of identify (two counts). According to the indict- ment, on March 22, Bowman uttered or possessed a forged instrument with knowledge that it was forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another. The indict- ment also reads that she pos- sessed or used current or for- mer identifying information of another person or family member or ancestor of the other person with intent to represent herself as the other person or obtain benefits or property to which she would otherwise not be entitled, or she made a financial or credit transaction using the other person’s identity. Her bond was set at $1,500 with no contact with the victim. - Robin L. Cox, 40, of 110 Jonathon Drive in Campbellsville was indicted for theft by failure to make required disposition of prop- erty. According to the indict- ment, on or about Oct. 27, 2011, Cox obtained property upon agreement or subject to a known legal obligation to make a specified payment or disposition, and he failed to make the required pay- ment or disposition. His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000. - James E. Coconougher, 363 Linda Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pos- session of drug parapherna- lia, failure to or improper signal, failure to produce insurance card, no opera- tor’s license. According to the indict- ment, on or about March 29, Coconougher possessed a controlled substance in schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. His bond was set at $1,000. - Damon Lee Barnett, 45, of 799 W. Main Street in Lebanon was indicted for criminal possession of a forged instrument (three counts) and second-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indict- ment, between Feb. 1 and 10, Barnett uttered or pos- sessed three forged instru- ments with knowledge that they were forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another. The indict- ment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday. His bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the victim. - Arthur L. Garrett, 45, 4539 Greensburg Road in Campbellsville was indicted for second-degree crimi- nal possession of a forged instrument. According to the indict- ment, on or about Nov. 3, 2011, Garrett uttered or pos- sessed a forged instrument with knowledge that it was forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another. His bond was set at $750 with the condition that he has no contact with the vic- tim. - Dustin Bond, 23, of 78 Anna Court in Campbellsville was indicted for second- degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. According to the indict- ment, on or about July 31, Bond uttered or possessed a forged instrument with knowledge that it was forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another. His bond was set as the same as his bond in a Taylor County case.
