NEWS FROM CITY HALL

November 25, 2013, the City of Ellendale will begin managing the branch office of the Motor Vehicle De-

partment. The branch site will remain at DRN until December 31, 2013. Please continue to watch for

updated information.

Due to the age of our water meters and meter reading equipment, our city crew is in the process of replac-

ing water meters. This process will begin in November 2013 and be ongoing over the next 2

years. Water customers will be contacted to arrange a date and time for this change. It will be neces-

sary to turn off the water while the replacement is made. In the event plumbing repairs are necessary to

enable the water shut off, the owner is responsible for the cost of the repair.
