Ready to donate a prayer shawl? The Prayer Shawl Ministry is so grateful for the beautiful donations of prayer shawls and lap robes from so many of you over the past few years. As you know, each item is blessed and packaged for distribution to a variety of receivers; individuals who are struggling, nursing homes, and most recently, the Blue Christmas service attendees.

Prayer shawls have become such an important part of that service that we are already gearing up for the volume of prayer shawls needed for Christmas 2020! If it is in your heart to be a part of that effort, and you can either knit or crochet a shawl (approximately 20" X 60"), please know that it will be received with gratitude. Donations of new prayer shawls may be left in the craft room (205) closet or in the Information Hallway at Hope Central Campus. The team will then prepare the shawls for distribution.

Holy Week & Easter Volunteers Needed! With our special Easter services quickly approaching, we need volunteers to help during worship! We are specifically seeking ushers, greeters, and communion servers for our special Easter services, especially for our Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter sunrise events.

If you’re interested in volunteering this Easter season, please sign up in the Event Sign-Up Center or in the Event Sign-Up binder.

Fragrance-Free Section at Hope Central Campus!

Here at Hope, we have many members who struggle with allergies and sensitivities to strong perfumes. While all allergic reactions are uncomfortable, some of our members can have extremely serious reactions that result in anaphylaxis and hospitalization. In an effort to keep our church safe for everyone, we have designated the back section of pews at Hope Central Campus as a Fragrance-Free Zone. This is a safe place where our members with allergies can sit in comfort.

If you choose to sit in this section, please be sure you are not wearing any strong perfumes, colognes, lotions, or deodorants, and please refrain from eating mints or gum while in the pews.

Living Last Supper

April 9th at 11:00am & 7:30pm

Commemorate Maundy Thursday with our annual Living Last Supper at Hope Central Campus!

This dramatic performance will feature a fictional reenactment of the final meal before Jesus’ crucifixion, incorporating the famous Da Vinci painting as a model for the set.

Along with monologues given by each of the disciples, a choir will carry the story in song, before the service culminates in communion for the entire congregation.

Tickets are required! Tickets will be available on our website www.hope2all.org starting Friday, March 20th. Living Last Supper tickets will be free but must be reserved in advance!

Planner for the ELCA Foundation!

Rev. Lugo will join us at Hope Lake Weir Campus this weekend and

at Hope Central Campus on March 28th & 29th!

She will also give a special presentation in the Fellowship Hall at Hope Central Campus on March 29th following the

11:30am service for those interested in learning more about gift planning!

Gift planners like Rev. Lugo offer valuable information on wills, estate planning, and legacy gifts. This is a free service offered by the ELCA to serve members who are interested in planning

for the future.

Give an Easter Lily!

If you would like to provide a lily for Easter worship in honor or in memory of a loved one, please sign up in the Event Sign-Up

Center at any Hope campus.

Please PRINT neatly!

Each lily is $10. Please make checks out to Hope and indicate “Lily” on the memo line or on your offering envelope.

If you wish to take a lily home, lilies can be picked up after the last service on Easter Sunday. Please remember that a

donation of a lily does not guarantee one will be available for you to take home after Easter.

Diabetes Support Group Cancelled for March 16th

There will be no Diabetes Support Group this Monday, March 16th. The group will resume next month on April 20th with a

special guest speaker!

Women of Hope Retreat Tuesday, April 14th – Thursday, April 16th

Our three-day retreat will be held at Luther Springs Retreat Center. Our speaker will be Pastor Sarah Locke, who is a Campus Minister at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville and an Assisting Priest at Redeemer Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. Interest has been expressed in creating a new Women’s Circle to accommodate our growing community at Hope at the Everglades Rec Center. Circle members decide their own purpose, name, meeting schedules, and locations. A social meeting is scheduled on Friday, March 20th, at 2:00pm at McAlister's Deli, 3630 Kiessel Rd, Brownwood Paddock Square, The Villages, FL 32163-2910.

They joined Hope together on December 10, 2000. A service for
