Dear Guest, We usher in the summer with many refreshing ideas at The Oberoi, Gurgaon. I am delighted to introduce our Japanese masterchef, Hiroshi Kagata, who has joined our team at threesixtyone°. With over 33 years of experience, Chef Kagata was recently at the helm of one Michelin star restaurant Mizumi in Macau. His culinary expertise includes the classic Kaiseki, prepared with seasonal ingredients imported directly from the Tsukiji market in Tokyo. Masterchef Tejas Sovani brings his signature ‘fun and flair’ to classic flavors in an all-new menu. His yen for exploring small town markets in search of key seasonal ingredients and closely-guarded recipes is coupled with constant experimentation. Rakesh Awaghade, our resident Sommelier introduces a series of interesting wine pairings at our cellar. What’s more, enjoy innovative cocktails paired with eclectic music, every evening at the threesixtyone° bar lounge. Chef Chen recommends:• Fried tofu with black fungus in chilli bean sauce• Sichuan style stir fry of chicken• Chong qing lazi ji: Stir fry of chicken with lots of dry red chillies• Shui zhu yang rou: Lamb with chilli bean sauce, garlic and hot oil• Sichuan style stir fry of tofu with pork mince in a spicy bean sauce

Chef Chen is our Sichuan masterchef, skilled at the art of hand-made noodles. He is also an expert at making the exquisite Peking Duck that is roasted to perfection with a golden crisp skin outside and moist meat inside. Every Sunday guests can see Chef Chen prepare fresh noodles which he then serves in delicious hot soups and stir fries at the Sunday Champagne Brunch at threesixtyone°.
