    We have had a great start back to our new school year, the children seem to have settledwell into their new classes and children who are new to school are enjoying themselves.Thanks to the parents who have joined us for meetings to find out relevant informationfrom the teachers about the expectations, curriculum and learning in classes. If you have ameeting booked with your child's new teacher soon we are looking forward to seeing you.As always please speak to your child's classteacher if you have any issues or queries .     Celebration Assembly: Monday 9:109:30 amYou are welcome to join us for this event. we will text you if your child is to receive a special award.Birthday cards are presented in Celebration Assembly to children having birthdays during the week

    Parking

    Could we remind parents that they must not park outside the

    school gates as this is dangerous not only for our crossing patrol

    officer Les, but also for all of our children. Please slow down and

    take extra care when driving past the school before and after

    school and please do not park in front of local residents drivesblocking their entry to and exit from their homes. We will be

    arranging for the police and traffic wardens to do random regular

    checks to ensure the safety of our children and would like to thank

    you in advance for your support in helping us to keep all the children

    of Barlow Hall safe..

    Contact Details

    Please can you ensure that you return your data collection forms to

    school as soon as possible, whether or not there have been any

    changes to the details on the form. If any further changes are made

    to the information on the forms please could you let the office know

    or forward the details to them via our texting service on 0161 850

    0880.

    Delamere Forest

    Year 1/2 will be going on a trip to the Delamere Forest as part of

    their topic on Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Pleasecould parents

    ensure that they return the permission slips to class teachers as

    soon as possible.

    PE Kits

    We still have a number of children who have not brought their PE

    kits into school. Please could parents send the kits into school by

    Monday as classes will be accessing all of their scheduled PE lessons

    by then.

    Cracking Good Food

    Sharon Drinkwater, our Parent Support Advisor, will be restarting

    the Cracking Good Food Club next week from Thursday 19th

    September. The course runs for 4 weeks from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pmand gives great ideas for cooking healthy meals on a low budget.

    Please see Sharon if you are interested in joining the group.
