ECSA which started on 16th April 2009 with 120 students since then grown

in gigantic proportions, evidencing spectacular developments, offering

balanced life education. ECSA was founded with a view to giving a new

dimension to the present education system. It aims to provide sufficient

opportunities to each student to discover and face the challenges

presented to them.

To excel in the field of technical education and research by perseverance to

produce high quality engineers and technologists having high levels of

creativity and ethical standards, contributing effectively to the growth of

our society and country.

1. To impart knowledge in the fields of Electronics, Communication and

related areas with a focus on developing the necessary

competencies, virtues and qualities expected of an electronics

engineer by the society at large.

2. To familiarize the students with the state of the art technology to

meet the growing demands of modern industries.

3. To foster self development leading to positive social transformation.

5th September 2017

Lt. Cdr. Priyambada Sahoo inaugurated the function followed by

Motivational Speech

7

Dr. Niranjan started the session by giving an introduction about his company and the

various projects. He stressed upon the necessity of video surveillance in various fields

and the existing methods for the same. He also demonstrated the implementation of

video analytics with step by step procedures. Video Analytics is the industry's most

advanced and comprehensive range of analytics, allowing users to capture, index and

search faces, license plates, objects, colors and more. He encouraged the students to

take up various innovative projects which could help them in getting recruited in core

companies.

Motivational Talk on

“ Sustainable Ambitions and

meaningful Achievements”

By

Dr. K Madhukar Shetty

IPS, Deputy Director of S.V.P

National Police Academy

Hyderabad

on

25th September 2017

Dr. Madhukar spoke on how to choose a life of truth over the present life

style of hype by mentioning some of the instances of his life. He advised

the students to maintain ambitions which are sustainable on a long run.

He shared his personal experiences which he had when he was deputed to

be a part of the team assigned to capture the notorious brigand Veerappan.

According to him, achievements should be meaningful and should satisfy

the self-consciousness.

8

He motivated the students to have right goal for their future, achieve the

same meaningfully and serve the society in the right manner.

Technical talk on

“Application of Engineering in

Health Care”

By

Mr. Vishwaprasad Alva,

Managing Director, Skanray

Technologies, Skan-X Radiology

Devices Europe.

On

26th September 2017

Technical talk on recent technologies used in healthcare applications and

various opportunities available for the engineers in Biomedical field.

9

Mr. Alva, mainly focused on the use of computer processed combination

of X-rays. He also spoke on the generation of modern day 3-Dimensional

and 4-Dimensional analysis in Medical Imaging. He compared the

operations and advantages of CT scan over X-rays and MRI scan. The CT

scan uses X-ray beams for scanning the body as it moves through an arc

taking many pictures. Unlike CT scan, which uses X-rays, MRI scan uses

powerful magnetic field and Radio Frequency pulses to produce detailed

pictures of organs, soft tissues, bone and other internal body structures.

He also stressed on the side effects of using Ultra Sound.

Dr. Ashok Rao, Former Head, Network Project at

CEDT, IISc, Bangalore

The talk emphasized on the importance of Artificial Neural Network and

its Applications. It started with the explanation about the functioning of

brain followed by the comparison of brain with traditional computer. The

history of artificial neural network and the basic reason why we are

interested in building of artificial neural network and also the working of

artificial neural networks was explained using Boolean OR and EXOR

gates. The error estimation and the two basic types of learning were

explained. Finally applications of ANN in different fields followed by its

advantages and disadvantages were discussed. Talk was concluded

saying ANN is an initiation of the biological neural network in a much

simpler way.
