Hello Division 5! It’s me again and it’s SUMMER Whoohoo! I’m sure we are all excited to be on break but remember to keep serving because key club is a year round organization. This past month has been filled with tons of fun and lots of key club! I was able to visit Health Careers at their freshman orientation and help promote key club. For the freshman promotional Key Club event I made a divisional presentation board that I can take a long to any event to spread the message about Key Club so please please let me know if you need me to come to an event with my presentation board . I also had the chance to visit my Kiwanis several times and it was awesome so please go visit yours! They want you to come to your meetings just like you like them to come to yours. And lastly, I had a very successful PCM and I appreciate all who came! I appreciate the support of all of you . Remember I can be reached at any time at my phone (text/call 210-279-5444), email ([email protected]), or through facebook (let me know if you are not on the division 5 Fb page). We also have a twitter page @TOkeyclubDiv5 I am here for you all and I can’t wait to grow as a division and meet you all!

PCM Recap: Our first PCM on June 8th was a success! We had representatives from JECA, Bandera, and Health Careers High School. At the PCM we had our formal meeting, lunch, and played Key Club Bingo! Look out for another one coming soon! This past PCM focused on how key club works and what all the officers purposes are. I want to have another one on how to have a successful key club soon so keep checking those emails for dates! Here’s what we decided at the PCM…

-We decided that we wanted a twitter page for the division

-We decided that we want to continue forward on plans to go to DCON in April 2014

-We decided we want to have division wide fundraisers for DCON

-We decided we want to have socials as a division during the summer

DCON Forward One of my major goals is to send as many clubs in the Division to DCON this upcoming year and to do so I know it costs money. Therefore, we will hold division wide fundraisers where we will work together to earn money for DCON. At the PCM we decided that garage sales would be an easy way to bring everyone together to do this so start gathering garage sale items!! Look through your closet and see what you don’t use anymore and go through your garage and things! I am working with the Kiwanis to form a collection team. So please check emails and facebook for details on our future fundraisers. Thank you!

We are officially a fully dues paid division and I really appreciate your hard work during Brianna’s term and the beginning of my term to pull that off! Let’s definitely do this upcoming key club season!
