Winter Menu 2015 Note: This menu complies 100% with the Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth. Water is served throughout the day. We use whole grain/wheat products. We try to reduce sodium level by making our soups & omitting processed foods. (We do not serve processed foods, chocolate milk or liquid candy.) We do provide lactose free milk if required. On special occasions a treat is offered to children – some of the time – and not considered part of their regular menu plan. All foods for infants and babies are modified/pureed for their appropriate development needs and will be discussed with parents/guardians to ensure daily dietary needs are met. We support breast feeding and will work with mother with scheduling, breast milk storage, and space to accommodate nursing times.
