Announcement of the Sixty-fourth Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology

The annual meeting will be held on April 4 and 5 . 1967, at Nagoya University, as a part of the program of the 17th General Assembly of the Japan Medical Association. The president of the annual meeting will be Prof. Kaname Hori of the Department ot Neuropsychiatry, Nagoya University.

The following programs are scheduled:

Part I:

Kaname Hori, Professor of Neuropsychiatry. Nagoya University.

Utena. Professor of Neuropsychiatry. University of Tokyo.

Part 11: Symposia April 4, 2-5 p.m.

I . Problems in the medical care of mentally-ill patients outside the hospital. Twenty-six papers will be presented. The chairman will be Dr. Akira Kasamatsu. Profes- sor of Neuropsychiatry, Tokyo University Branch Hospital.

2. Pathophysiology of endogeneous psychoses. Eight papers will be presented. The chairman will be Dr. Nozomi Suwa. Professor of Neuropsychiatry, Hokkaido University. April 5. 9-12 a.m.

3. Problems in special psychiatric treatments. with particular reference to the indi- cation and limitation of treatments for schizophrenia. Seventeen papers will bc? presented. The chairman will be Dr. Tonao Sakurai, Professor of Neuropsychiatry, Kyushu University.

4. Toxic neuropsychiatric disorders, Eight papers will be presented. The chair- man will be Dr. Hirotsugu Shiraki, Protessor of Neuropathology at the Brain Research Institute of University of Tokyo.
