• KPI Report – Run a comparison report for the same period between this year and last year by ticking ‘Show Last Year’s Comparison’. Use it to keep track of how promotion activities increase uptake of additional services you may be offering.
• Product Group Report – Compare category contributions in your pharmacy to national retail data (eg. from Statistics NZ).
• Staff and Sales Report – Report on the greatest ongoing opportunity in your business; sales against staff member, basket size against product group sales.
• Shelf Space for Maximum Profit – Identify the ideal shelf space (in metres) for maximum profit for your winter products.

Did You KnowMulti-claimant numbersDid you know that RxOne allows more than one claimant number in the same pharmacy database? This can help you handle the situation where you are claiming scripts from more than one DHB. Please contact us for setup details. Email [email protected] or call 09 300 7007 to enquire.
Resthome field in DispensaryThe resthome field has moved from the Patient’s ‘Personal Details’ tab to the ‘Patient’s Disp Info’ screen in RxOne Dispensary. This will make it easier to view which resthome a patient has been assigned to upon opening a patient profile.
TECHIE CORNERAnti-virus Software and Backup There are reports about various computer systems being ‘hacked’ or viruses running rampant on the internet. It’s important that you prevent and minimise the effects of malware and ransomware on your machines. We recommend:
1) Have reputable anti-virus software on all your computers. HealthSoft is a licenced reseller of ESET NOD32 and Endpoint Security Antivirus. Please give us a call to discuss your options.2) Keep an off-site backup. KeepITSafe offer a reasonably priced solution for your mission-critical data. Email us on [email protected] to get your KeepITSafe backups happening.3) Never open emails from unknown senders or click on links or downloadable media from known senders unless you are expecting them.

conference provided the perfect opportunity to meet

and challenging presentation regarding
the value and the need to appear online for the sake of your customers. It’s not just about selling online; being accessible and informative
are also key.
