REMEMBRANCE DAY
Pupils from schools in the area laid wreaths to commemorate the fallen from both World Wars on Monday at the War Memorial. Thank you to Isabelle, Anne, Fred and Freddie who went with Mrs Faulkner to lay our school wreath.
GOVERNOR VISIT
On Tuesday this week six of our Governors came to spend the morning in school with us. They were extremely impressed with lots of the learning they saw going on, children’s behaviour, display work in the classrooms and corridors and how well the children spoke to them about peer mediation, Empiribox Science and general school life. They also commented on what a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere the school has. Thank you very much to our Governors who do this job voluntarily and who gave up their time to come and visit us. We look forward to another visit in the Spring term.

Democracy in Action
Pupils taking part in their very own elections and not a single mention of Brexit !
It was a great way for everyone to learn how to vote and the processes involved in being
democratic.
Thank you to Miss Davies for organising this!

A PRAYER TO END THE WEEK
Our Prayer this week if from Green Class
Dear God
As we look forward to Christmas, please help us to remember it is the time when You came to earth as Jesus to help and guide us.
You wanted us to become better people, to be caring, kind and compassionate.
Therefore please help us to be considerate of those with no homes, no food, no loving families and no money at this special time of year.
We pray for those in need and hope they find some love in this busy time leading up to Christmas.
Amen.
CHRISTMAS WREATHS
Do we have any parents who are skilled in making wreaths and would be willing to come and run a workshop for children in school? If you are able to help, please come and speak to me or drop me an email.
