SPRING FAIR Sunday, 15th September

WORKING BEE Saturday 3rd August 9 am start Saturday 11th August 9 am start Saturday 31st August 9 am start

Can you spare a couple of hours?

We’ll be getting ready for the Spring Fair with jobs such as planting, making plaster moulds and other preparation.

New to the Fete this Year!! Lego Competition Kids, put your creative hat on and start planning what you would like to build and enter into our first ever Lego Competition. Entries should be brought to school the day before the fete (Saturday 14th) and include your name and class. Baking Competition (for children) Cook your favourite, delicious baked item and bring it to school the day before the fete (Saturday 14th). It might be a cake, a slice, a muffin or a biscuit. Remember to include your name and class, as well as a label telling the judges what you’ve made.

LOLLY STALL The lolly stall is one of the most popular stalls at our fete and we are seeking family support to help make this stall a success. We are asking each student to bring in a packet of lollies, which can be placed into their class lunch tub in the classroom, for storage at the canteen. A tally will be kept of the number of packets collected and each child in the winning class will receive a prize.

WHICH CLASS WILL COLLECT THE MOST LOLLIES??

We only need every child to bring in ONE item to make this stall a great success. Some suggestions could include jelly beans, jelly babies, jubes, sour lollies, bananas, party mix, musk sticks, snakes, red raspberries, frogs, lolly pops ...... the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!

DONATIONS … DONATIONS ... DONATIONS ...

DONATIONS NEEDED

If every family could donate ONE item it would generate more than 150 prizes for our raffle & chocolate wheel.

Why not have a clean up on the weekend and re-gift some of those unwanted items cluttering your drawers and cupboards. Every donation will generate money for our wonderful school.

Sponsorship and donations from families and local businesses is a vital part of the financial success of the fete.

If any parent or community member has an association with a business that may be willing to make a donation to the school, could they please contact Amanda Hill on 0431 205 536 or the school on 6559 9261. Donations could be in the form of a gift voucher or provision of a service or goods.

Acknowledgement of businesses are made through our school newsletters, the local press, the official fete program and a certificate to display in the business premises.

We need lots of helpers for the Spring Fair to help make the day a success. If you can spare as little as 1 hour on fete day, please return the attached note so that we can draw up our roster for the day . You may indicate your preferred time and which stall you would like to assist on. We need as many parents as possible - this fete will benefit YOUR children and our school, so please help.
