Remember, FERINI is where the ART is...!!!
Unique Art SpacesWelcome to our Spring Newsletter. This edition shows how much we do here at the gallery - so don’t miss out on what’s going on at one of the areas finest Art Galleries. The gallery is situated in the small village, Pakefield, just one mile south of Lowestoft the most easterly town in Great Britain.Artists are always looking for new spaces in which to exhibit their work and here at the Ferini Art Gallery we play host to many of them on a regular basis.
Next year is a special year for us - why? - well we will be in our fifteenth year in the art world and are currently working on a calendar for 2014 entitled ‘Artists Celebrate Lowestoft’ to commemorate. We have chosen twelve artists who we know will represent Lowestoft’s uniqueness in their paintings.

known as The Seagull TheatreMaggy Knight showed an early creative potential when in 1984 she too was guided towards becoming a member of The Norwich Twenty Group - where she met
Peter. Peter will be around on Saturdays throughout the exhibition for anyone wishing to talk to him about his work or art generally.

EASTER EXHIBITION
Come and see this wonderful exhibition of work by these two diverse artists.
I like pushing my projects to an imaginary level
so they end up as something personal to me. I belong to a turning club and we have a project
set each month. When I know the theme my first port of call is the dictionary and work out my design
from there. I start from the basic description and have no preconceived ideas and can go off in my
own little world adding my interpretation to the design. Eric

Adrian has been painting professionally

1994. His talent shone through at an

Ferini publications are a series of books designed and developed by Ferini Media dedicated to specific artists and their interests. These range from the immaculate
line drawings of Don E Rose (‘East Anglian Sketches’) showing us unique aspects
of the Suffolk countryside, to poetic pros of John Ward (‘The Iron Bridge’) which
incapsulates the history of Lowestoft through the eyes of lovers from two sides of
the bridge. Other books in the series are the delightful characters by Sam Capps (‘Characters at Large’) depicting the idiosyncrasies of peoples characteristics in a
humorous way. Catherine Fiddy’s ‘The Jingle Jangle Girl’ is the latest book which
spreads happiness every where it goes...and even has it’s own jingle too.
