Bank Visit We at TIS Cambridge believe in Hands on Experience as a part of the learning process.
Finance and Economics being an integral part of the curriculum, students were provided with an opportunity to visit the AU Small Finance Bank. The students of
grade 1- 10 visited to the bank over a period of days according to the days allotted to their grades. This provided them a platform to interact with the bank employees and
get a glimpse of the various sections of the bank including the locker section and understand how the bank functions. The information provided to our students by the
employees of the bank was age appropriate. The students too were encouraged to ask questions, clear doubts and misconceptions if any. It was indeed a learning experience for every student who visited and returned with a souvenir from the bank and with a
broad smile of course.

NAVRATRI CELEBRATION
Navratri is all about fun, frolic, dance and festivities. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil and seeking blessing from Maa Durga, the symbol of power and purity. We at TIS (Cambridge) believe in celebrating and honoring all the cultures and festivals which was
done by inviting parents for the Garba celebration on 16th October 2018. Dressed in traditional attire, parents and students enjoyed playing Garba with enthusiasm and frolic. Here’s a sneak
peek of the same.
Having completed the First Half of the Academic Year 2018-19, First Semester Exams were conducted to assess the progress of the students from
10th October 2018 to 25th October 2018.
Diwali Celebration
TIS Cambridge celebrated the spirit of Diwali by encouraging students to carry on the
traditional decorations by hands on experience which was reflected through team
work and their creativity.
Surprise On The Beach -Mst. Siddharth Sharma, V(Pyr)
"What was that?", I thought
My mind racing for the answer I sought. Was the thing really 'IT'? No, no! It just doesn't fit!
I was skipping on the beach,
When I spotted a whale I couldn’t believe my eyes
But of course, they could never fail!
I rushed to call my mother, But she was out somewhere.
Suddenly the whale turned to me, While I just stood and stared.
Slowly he swam to the shore,
As if wanting to talk to me. I was overjoyed but also scared,
Should I stay or should I flee?
He came close to me, But couldn’t come to the shore
I was mesmerized by him And my legs were numb no more.
I swam towards him, As gently as I could.
I did not want to scare him, I was hoping he understood.
I had heard about them
From my teachers at school. If I wanted to befriend him,
I had to keep my cool.
I touched his head, And then his nose.
I climbed on his back To see from where he blows.
We heard a loud noise
Coming from far and deep. I think it was his mother,
Calling him to sleep
“So long”, I said, “Goodbye dear Ben!”
And soon he was gone, I wish to see him again.
