The day following the Royal Parade,the KansasCity Club con-ducteda drivers' schoolfor Gymkhanaaspirants.Objective-wipeout MG-B's.Twenty-fivecars andabout40 drivers took part in theschoolwhich was conductedby RogerHurst, local brasscollector,and JohnnyGoanswho drove his TR.4to the MidwestDivisionalChampionshipand the KansasCity RegionalChampionshipthisyear. Johnnywiped out several Stingrays in his events, so weknow he's a hot driver. Result? Many new enthusiastsfor themore competitiv.etype of driving, and manyspectators inquiringabout the cost and availability of Triumphs.
