BEES NEWS At our last school assembly there was a special guest - Miss Earth New Zealand! Her name is Anna-Lisa and she came to speak about the importance of caring for the Earth. Anna-Lisa talked about the five R’s of sustainability, which are Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Respect. Her job is to help make us aware of our responsibilities and give us ideas about how to care for the world that we live in. Soon after the assembly, she was heading off to Austria for the Miss Earth contest. Anna-Lisa really enjoyed our assembly, especially the BEE group performing their enviro rap! !!!!!!!!!

The Year 6 Choir performed outstandingly at the APPA Music Festival on Tuesday night. The Auckland Town Hall was alive with song, musicians, dance and culture ... a feast for the ears and eyes. Memorable moments have to be the Les Miserables Medley and Exodus Song with the fabulous pipe organ. Thanks to parents and teachers for their ongoing support and to the Year 6 Choir - you are awesome!!
