The added value of TAG-DIT Diploma:1. Bilingual: The examination may be provided either in Arabic or in English.2. Credibility: Correcting examinations is done electronically without human

intervention.3. Speed: On the trainee screen, examination results are presented immediately

after the exam is over.4. Flexibility: The option of applying to the examinations is available at any

time and at any of the approved centers.5. Gradual promotion: The certificate shall be awarded in accordance with the

Abu-Ghazaleh Chairs the National Cultural Conference’s Session

AMMAN - While chairing the National Cultural Conference session entitled “Culture of Community Service”, H.E. Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh stressed the importance of multicultural diversity in enhancing peoples’ and institutions performance in a country.

The Conference has been organized by Jordan Cultural Forum Society, under the patronage of Senate President HE Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez in the presence of Minister of Culture HE Ms. Basma Al-Nsour.While addressing the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that the culture of community service should be proven by the conduct of institutions towards their countries, explaining that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) allocates 50% of its profits to community service

activities. He pointed out that TAG-Org launched Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business and Culture Radio Station which is considered an added value to the cultural scene in the Kingdom.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh called on all educational institutions in Jordan to embrace the culture of creativity and innovation to keep up with the rapid development in the field of information and communication technology which will positively affect the national economy.

Meanwhile, Abu-Ghazaleh announced the opening of registration for admission at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) which is one of a kind institution that aims at graduating inventors. For his part, Mr. Jeries

Samawi, former Minister of Culture and Head of the Higher Committee of the Conference highlighted several cultural issues including the role of Ministry of Culture, the multi-cultural platforms in the country as well as the cultural reference points in the Ministry’s discourse.

Executive Chair of the Forum Dr. Mohammad Hiasat said: “It is time to uplift the cultural sector and find mechanisms to transform the performance of cultural institutions to keep abreast of the social and technological changes and improve the cultural product.” At the closing of the Forum, the recommendations of the participants were submitted to the Chair of the Higher Committee to find the appropriate mechanisms for implementation.

It’s noteworthy to mention that Jordan Cultural Forum is a voluntary cultural association which aims to uplift the cultural sector, support cultural institutions and organize cultural and scientific events and activities.

Ministry of Higher Education Officially Endorses the Name ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation’

AMMAN - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientif ic Research has approved the new name of “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation” (TAGUCI) to become the off icial name of the newly established university college which will start its f irst semester 2018/2019 next October.

The approved name originally, when the college was established, was: ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Applied Business and Information Technology.”

TAGUCI is considered the f irst educational institution of its kind in the world that requires graduates to create a digital invention as a condition for graduation. It is worth mentioning that Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) has submitted an application to protect the rights of this new educational method at a global level to be the sole property of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization.

Branches for TAGUCI will be established in Iraq, the United Arab Emirates in addition to Ramallah in Palestine, with the aim of promoting the vision of the University in making a shift in higher education in Jordan, the Arab world and globally.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation is a University College specialized in business and information technology. It focuses on providing the appropriate environment for creativity and innovation through modern learning methods while granting students the potential to transform their ideas and inventions into marketable products.

‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Development 2018’ Conference Concludes with Special Focus on Global Development

AMMAN-Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), the global organization for professional services and education held a special conference entitled “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Development 2018” chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the attendance of activity directors and managers representing TAG-Org’s 110 offices around the world.

The conference comes in response to the futuristic vision of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in the expansion and development of TAG-Org’s services around the world and strengthen the Group’s position as a knowledge-based organization.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed on the objective of organizing such event which focuses on developing the work of the organization under a new entity called “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Development (TAG-D)” which will handle all aspects of the Group’s development activities.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh added that the Organization passed through two important phases since its establishment in 1972. The first phase was from 1972 till 1990 in Kuwait and the second phase started in 1991 till this day in which TAG-Org worked on the expansion plan of its services and its presence around the world which will continue with its message to provide services to develop the capacity building and serve the economy.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh noted that this message is being implemented around the world without any exception, which requires investing heavily in the future

and in marketing the services provided by TAG-Org.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh underlined the fact that capacity building which will be part of the effort and work of the new entity will have the bigger share globally due to the reputation of the Group, its great history, the excellent expertise and suitable financial capabilities to provide such a service.

Regarding expansion, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh underscored the Group’s strategy in providing its services and establishing new offices focusing on the fact that in 2017 and until today 35 new offices have been registered and licensed in Asia, Africa, Latin American and Europe.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh focused on the establishment of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovations, a unique concept in the educational world and which will open in October with a mission of changing the traditional educational system and graduating inventors.

A host of decisions were made during the conference with the aim of developing the strategy of the Group based on the directives of its Founder and Chairman Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh.

During the Conference, directors briefed the participants on the various fields and services presented by the Group around the world which included: Cambridge Assessment English, Arabic Fluency Test, E-Archiving, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT), digital learning, tenders, Chinese language, recruitment and human resources, Quality Education, ISO in addition to others.

“Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Innovation” Participates in a Creative Business Contest at Petra University

Amman - Petra University has concluded its first entrepreneurship competition, in cooperation with the University’s Business Incubator which was inaugurated earlier this year by the President of the Arab Organization for Quality Education Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Spark organization.

The competition was commenced by the University President Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, in the presence of the Supreme Chancellor of the University, Dr. Adnan Badran. The students presented their innovative business ideas in the field of entrepreneurship to their jury of experts

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), represented by the Dean of the College, Ms. Rana Al-Khadra, participated in the evaluation of the students’ business ideas. TAGUCI is the first of its kind in the Middle East and will be opened in early October to create a “learning tsunami” in Jordan and the region.

Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh translated his vision to create a new scientific reality in line with the Finland model, through the establishment of this college with the aim of graduating inventors based on the premise that “the only way to make wealth in the future is by creating knowledge.”

Mr. Shadi Al Hassan, Executive Director of Process and Smith, Dr. Noha Al Khalili, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information & Technology at Petra University, Mr. Murad Hamza, SPARK Business Expert and Ms. Saja Jaber, Project Manager at Oasis 500 were all part of the jury.

Twelve teams of students participated in the competition and presented their innovative business ideas. Abdulla Al Fares, Adnan Haddad and Ghassan Ibrahim from the College of Information Technology represented

the winning team. Their project is a device with an application for people with stuttering problems that reduces stuttering by 90%. The team was awarded an amount of 3000 dinars in support of their emerging project.

Qais Jouar, a graduate of the marketing department at the University of Petra, and Ali Ja’bari, a graduate of industrial engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Jordan, won the second prize amounting to 2000JD for the application they created, an interactive game program for daily Q & A. The Business Incubator at the University was also honored to embrace the projects of the two winning teams, offering students and young people an area of work and technical, administrative and logistical consultancy in support of creativity and development.

The competition was held at the end of a three-week intensive training course for participants with creative ideas to build business models for their projects in cooperation between Spark and the Business Incubator at the University of Petra, where they followed the latest interactive learning methods through local and international specialists.
