    Create a newspaper front page relating to the novel studied this term.

    You will create the front page of a daily newspaper based in the same location as thesetting of the novel.

    You must include one main story based on events from the novel, additional sidestories and advertising. The title of the newspaper should be relevant to the setting

    and/or novel.

    This may be presented in either A3 or A4 format and may be produced on acomputer.

    This essay will assess your Viewing and Writing skills.

    To do well at this task ensure that you:

    Demonstrate understanding of the layout of a newspaper front page

    Demonstrate how newspaper stories are constructed

    Write a well-structured and relevant story

    Select key events from the novel to support your newspaper content

    Ensure correct spelling, punctuation and grammar in your writing
