NEXTON MEDICAL OFFICEThe Nexton Health & Wellness Campus is the result of a powerful collaboration of MeadWestvaco, Equity Inc (the developer) and Palmetto Primary Care Physicians and its affiliates. The opportunity here is to lay a foundation for successfully navigating change in the healthcare industry and its many regulation changes, creating cross specialty clinical integration supported by powerful technology and management tactics. THE DESIGN CONCEPTThe design concept for the Nexton Medical Office Building reflects the natural beauty of Summerville, South Carolina. Simple planes of finish materials, earth-toned colors, and natural light from the exterior façade will promote a feeling of well being within the interior. The floor finish material placement organizes the public space into a porch-like setting with seating along the exterior windows. The use of natural colors and materials highlight patient centered elements such as the suite entries, restrooms and elevators to inspire a connected experience while interacting with the interior.

INTERIOR & EXTERIOR ATTRIBUTESThe Nexton Medical Building is architecturally significant and is designed to provide tenants with amenities that are tailored to fit the needs of their patients and employees. Spacious parking and covered access with drop-off provide easy accessibility. Once in the building large windows fill the public waiting space and offices with natural light and views of tree-lined streets. The campus is located in the heart of the Nexton Community which when completed will offer an abundance of dining and shopping options within walking distance.
