◊ Nano-City: A New Planned City in Haryana, India Chief Architectural and Planning Consultant

Organized and guided a design-team of architects, urban designers and planners on the conceptualization of a new city. The site for the city entitled "Nano City" is twenty miles east of the city of Chandigarh. The government of the State of Haryana, India allowed an 11,000 acre site by Nano Works, Ltd. (Sabeer Bhatia) and has provided a tax incentive package to jump-start the project. The main intent is to create a livable, dense, sustainable, eco-friendly I.T. that can serve as a model for other developments in the region.
