It belongs to the Alliance of Centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). Agri Business Incubator is a public private partnership initiative of ICRISAT, in partnership with National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. ABI is the place where the process of starting agri-business ventures is catelysed. This is achieved by supporting entrepreneurs with agri-technology, consultancy and networking. The incubator maximizes success and minimizes risk by offering the best opportunity. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The Council is the apex body for coordinating, guiding and managing research and education in agriculture including horticulture, fisheries and animal sciences in the entire country.
