General InformationThe workshop will be held on March 7-8, 2006 at the Technology Square ResearchBuilding in Atlanta, GA. A map to the meeting site and hotel is attached. Note that theTechnology Square Research Building is adjacent to the building in which NIACHeadquarters is located. In order to attend, NIAC must receive a completed registrationform by March 1, 2005. There is no fee to attend the meeting but you must register sothat we will have an accurate count for meals and snacks.

Keynote Speaker: Professor John Cramer, University of Washington
Professor Cramer earned his B.A., M.A and Ph.D. degrees inPhysics from Rice University. His research interests include ultra-relativistic heavy ion physics, the interpretation of quantummechanics and ultra-high energy astrophysics. He is a Fellow ofthe American Association for the Advancement of Science and theAmerican Physical Society. Professor Cramer has been a programadvisor to the TRIUMF Laboratory, National SuperconductingCyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University, Cyclotron
Laboratory at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and the Clinton P.Anderson MesonPhysics Facility (LAMPF) of Los Alamos National Laboratory. He has published morethan 150 papers in referred journals and conference proceedings. In addition to beingan established and recognized teacher and research physicist, he has published two sci-ence fiction books, Einstein's Bridge and Twistor and has contributed to columns appear-ing in the Analog Science Fiction/Science Fact Magazine.
