A Balanced MarketStrong interest from investors continues to generate a great deal of activity in the commercial and industrial property market.

Many of these buyers are moving their funds from interest bearing accounts into investment properties, offering a solid yield with quality leases in place. The considerable tax advantages further add to the attraction of investing in commercial and industrial property.

As the year approaches the half-way mark our investment sales are up 10 fold having transacted over $20 million of sales in recent months. We expect this trend to continue given the low interest rate environment.

Another key driver in the market is the return of Developers catering to owner occupiers.

In recent months we have been appointed on over 60 new warehouses/office warehouses located in areas stretching from Oakleigh all the way through to Mornington. Much of this construction is now underway.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, there are 1.55 million small businesses in Australia, 86% of which have less than five employees.
