trict. This is the

100th anniversary

of the Outdoor

Circle in Hawaii.

They are currently

involved in the

Mother’s Day “Hele On Kaka’ako” to be held on Mother’s Day which will

take over the streets in Kaka’ako from Mother Waldron Park to the Gateway

Park. Cooke Street will be transformed into a complete street for Hele On

Kaka’ako! Bring the kids and have a wonderful time.

Last week we had a Club Assembly which we discussed where and what the

direction of or club is headed. We are looking forward to a very successful

Ducky Dash fundraiser on the 4th of July plus a very informative and entertain-

ing District Conference next weekend at Turtle Bay Resort.

A LATE NEWS FLASH:

The Rotary Club of Hawaii Kai has just received an generous anonymous donation of 50% of the cost of the fireworks for the July 4

th celebration. The donor

has requested total

anonymity and challenges the community come up with the other 50% of the funds needed.

Please help us celebrate the fourth of July in the tra-dition of this great country.

There can be fireworks this year !
