eClass Online Learning this semester is only available to adult learners, part-�me and private school students. Only part-�me TCDSB students are eligible to apply this term.

Full-�me TCDSB students require approval from their day school to apply.

Adults, part-�me and private school students registering for courses will be sent an acceptance email if the requested courses are available.

TO REGISTER:1. Visit your guidance department for a blank registra�on form. Submit acompleted registra�on form to your day school guidance counsellor.

2. A�er submi�ng a completed registra�on form, obtain a Con�nuing Ed.�metable print-out from your guidance counsellor. This is your confirma�onreceipt that you have been registered successfully.

Your registra�on package must consist of the following items:

- Signed & Stamped (with School approval) Registra�on Form

- Credit counseling summary that lists the prerequisite mark for the course you are a�emp�ng this term.

All students can register for night and eClass Online Learning courses star�ng on Wednesday, January 8th. Based on enrolment, courses will be cancelled or redirected on February 21st. Students may register for a maximum of three courses. Proof of registra�on and photo ID may be requested on the first session of classes.

The TCDSB reserves the right to cancel or relocate a class. A preliminary list of cancelled courses will be available on Friday, February 21, 2020. It is the student's responsibility to check our website for a list of all cancelled and relocated classes.

Regular a�endance and punctuality are mandatory. Students who do not a�end the first session of classes may forfeit their place in the course. To report anabsence, please contact the school during opera�ng hours to report an absence or to inquire about their child’s a�endance. eClass students who are unable to login must email eregister@tcdsb.org

All students will be required to write a final exam. Students who are unable to fulfill this condi�on will be considered to have not completed the course.

A $10.00 fee will apply.

If you are a new user: Click on Create an Account and fill out your personal information into the application form.

Enter your 9-digit OEN (Ontario Education Number). This number is not your student number and it is located on the top of your transcript/report card/credit counselling summary.

To Register for a course: To log into the system, return to www.tcdsb.org/continuinged and use your email address and the password that was emailed to you OR use the password that you created for this account.

Under Continuing Education Information, select the night school location that will be offering the course of your choice. For online courses, please select “eClass Online Learning”.

Select your New Credit course from the drop down menu. If a course does not appear in the drop down menu, the course is not offered at that particular location. Please chose another location or check the availabilty of the course on our website. If applicable, refer to your transcript/credit counselling summary to enter the prerequisite course and mark for your selection. (For example: Grade 12 English University ENG4U requires Grade 11 English University ENG3U with a passing mark. Enter this information in the appropriate fields.).

After pressing the Submit button, review your information and edit it if necessary. You must press the “Verify and Confirm/Print Registration” button in order to send your registration information to Continuing Education.

After printing your form, you will receive an email with the subject line “TCDSB Continuing Education: Registration Package”

Option 1: Modify your request information - By pressing this you can change any of the information that you entered.

Option 2: Verify and Confirm/Print Registration Request - Allows you confirm your to re-print your registration form.

Option 3: Delete Registration Request - Allows you to cancel your registration request.

Please ensure that your registration form has a guidance counsellor signature and school stamp and parents signature. Please attach a report card or credit counselling report to each registration form. *Adults are not required to obtain a school stamp or other signatures. Adult learners who are between 18 years and 25 years old must provide a transcript at the time of registration.

Optional: Select a second course under Alternate Choice in case your first choice is cancelled at the same school location.

If you are registering for more than one course, you must fill out another online registration form. One registration form is required per course. Students can expect an acceptance email from the principal up to the second day/evening of classes.

Once you have created an account you will receive an email. Keep this email in your records as it is used each time you register for a Night, Saturday, Summer School or Online course. Don’t forget to check your junk/spam mailbox folder for this email. To ensure that you get our emails, add our domain (tcdsb.org) to your safe senders list.
