cycle. Founded in 1998 as a 100% private firm, the company

quickly built up a justified reputation for designing, manufacturing

and testing of quality optical components and assemblies, opto-

mechanical and optoelectronic systems for civil and defense

applications.

OPTIX Co. is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001,

OHSAS 18001 and is one of the first companies in Bulgaria to obtain

AQAP 2110 NATO certificate.

In three consecutive years - 2005, 2006 and 2007 OPTIX has been

awarded with the prize “Innovative Enterprise of the Year”. In 2006

the company also won “Investor of the Year” competition held by

the “InvestBulgaria Agency” in the category “Investor in the area

of innovative high technologies”.

About 95 % of the production is realized at EU and US markets.

Due to its cutting-edge technologies and updated optical and

mechanical design software, OPTIX Co. is able to complete the

whole production cycle- from R&D stage and prototype manu-

facturing to serial production of parts, assemblies and devices.

The thermal imaging sightsdentifie 50 & dentifie 100

are designed as autonomous aiming systems that may be used in conditions of total darkness, fog, smoke etc.without the need of additional IR illumination (passive mode). The devices recognize the difference in temperature of all objects in the environment. They are the law enforcement, special forces and sniper proffessionals’ choice to enhance mission precision and officer safety.

Designed for Special Forces operations, “Diana TT”is a compact, high performance device that offersa true stereoscopic night vision image with extremelygood depth perception. The innovative wide exit pupilseliminate the need of interpupillary adjustment andallows the operator to use the goggles in criticalconditions, while driving a vehicle, taking an assaultor in surveillance missions.

The “Diana A” is a high performance passive image intensifying system designedspecifically for use by helicopter pilots during night flight missions. The goggles allowthe aviator to navigate at nap of the earth, flying off, landing and other operationsthat are practically impossible or extremely dangerous at night conditions withoutthe use of illuminating resources.
