Rebound to Run RUN ECU: Tempo- The single most important factor of the game Fans- Increased attendance and fan support Players Love It- Kids love to play fast, players share the ball and the pace allows more kids to play Identity- This style gives an advantage in recruiting Vision- Universal belief in the system THE SYSTEM: Attack Mentality Sell Out Program Based Upon Standards MUST Run on Every Possession- Make or Miss Make the Extra Pass- Good to Great The BEST Teams Communicate NO Empty Trips- Shoot before Turnover More Offensive Rebounds = More Shots

THE INTER-STATE OFFENSE 5 vs 0 in 21 Seconds - Wings run wide and hard - Bigs run hard to the rim in 4 seconds - Wings pick a side before the 1st cone - Group must have 3 scores in the 21 seconds - Big takes the ball out on each made basket 11 Series- Baseline Pivot Drill * Partner positioned above the 3 pt line * Player starts on the baseline in triple threat • Explosive change of direction dribbles to

half court • Jump stop, pivot, pass to partner

• Sprint down the sideline, cut your move

Drake Drill

• 5 on 0 transition, filling lanes wide

• Cones placed at the 4 elbows

• PG (1) serves as an outlet and kicks ahead

• Goal of 7 scores in 45 seconds

• FT counts as a point

16 Spot Shooting • Player starts at cone A. After each shot,

player sprints to cone A • Series of Shots

§ Bank (1), Bank (2), Bank (1), Bank (2) § 2 Three’s

• Player curls (5), Flares (4); 3 times each

• Player sprints to touch cone B

• Player shoots 4 along 3 point line; touching cone B between shots

Inter-State Offense Numbers Game

• The team is split into two even groups

• Competitive play starts with 2-on-1 game

• Keep score and add one player on each offensive possession

• 2-on-2, 3-on-2, 3-on-3, 4-on-3 until it’s 5-on-5

• Winning group earns a “Sprint Pass”

Gut Check

• 2 players figure 8; 1 starts with the ball and dribbles while the other is sprinting

• Defense beats driver to the rim and makes a play

• Offense must attack the glass while defender has the courage to take a charge
