NIMA is the representative body of industries located in NASHIK District. Established on 24th January

in the Year 1971, NIMA has grown as a large body of all industries consisting of Large, Medium & Small

Scale category Units and Associate Members. It is an apex body representing the whole of North

Maharashtra. Also NIMA today has proven itself to be a representative of a group of industries that

are strong and capable performers beyond global standards.

NIMA also plays an active role in creating an environment conductive to growth and provides

opportunities to its industries to reach international markets. From agriculture to Information

technology NIMA has members from all sectors and types of industry.

NIMA has an excellent track record of solving number of industries-related problems and supporting

the development and growth prospects of industries in Nashik District. It is recognized by all

government bodies and its views are considered while formulating schemes related to industries /

industrial areas of Nashik District.

NIMA has proven itself to be a representative of a group of industries that are strong and capable

performers beyond global standards.

NIMA is the catalyst required by every industry to start any reaction. The efforts of NIMA, let them be

in interacting with Government officials or portraying the problems of industrialists as a whole or

encouraging industrial growth and quality, all help to start a chain reaction resulting in huge rewards

and benefits to every industry.

Dear Members,

It is indeed a pleasure to be the President of this most dynamic Association of Industries, which has made its modest beginning in the year 1971. A group of more than 3600, LSI, MSI and SSI MSME and others, Industries have formed this legendary association, for their common voice and showcasing their bright presence amongst Industries within India and abroad.

I am grateful to each member of the Nasik Industries and Manufacturers’ Association (NIMA) for trusting and bring-forth vast opportunity to me and my team to serve the Association with well-defined Vision, Mission and objectives, driven by values and well-organized approach.

The NIMA has a legacy to be led by the most dynamic, enthusiastic and result-oriented Presidents, as representative of members. Over the past several years, the NIMA has been aligning to the Nation and Industries growth expectations. Many ups and down phases were witnessed by this matured and well-organized group of Industries, and stood in front of all these, with the support and cooperation of its members.

I am responsible to navigate the growth of the NIMA, with conceptualized and organized operation, to achieve the mutual goal of each member. I am dedicated to the vision, mission and objectives, with due respect and maintenance of integrity and total transparency in each endeavour of workmanship.

I shall be accountable and responsible for the well-being and right governance of the NIMA by safeguarding the interest, rights and expectation of each member of the Association.

The sustainability of Industries requires key resources to be operated with this covers Infrastructure, knowledge and information, skilled manpower and allied good business practices. The NIMA is committed for bringing and made available the modern, advanced and best platform for its members to grow together.

I sincerely thank all past presidents, who have worked so honestly and dedicatedly to maintain and bring the NIMA at this stage, from where it will be easy for me to excel to a new milestone. Their support, guidance and cooperation will be the backbone of my tenure and an epicentre, to encourage and inspire me and my team in achievement of planned results.

Once again I thank you all, who have played a vital role to honour me with this responsibility. I am inviting everyone to be a part of this journey, with their valuable contribution, expertise and abilities.

“ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACCELERATOR PROGRAM FOR ENGINEERING STUDENT”

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Accelerator Program is to identify innovative ideas addressing the current pandemic issues and support engineering students and faculties to convert innovative ideas into successful commercial products. The secondary objective of this activity is to provide students with a real-life industrial need and problem. We wish to motivate students to make their ideas into proto-type which will be useful in the industry.

NIMA Innovation Facilitation Cell (NIMA IFC) and Tata Technologies’ "Ready Engineer" program join hands to launch the first of its kind “Accelerator Program” for technical institutes (students & faculties) to think over the current challenges and introduce new innovative solutions. This program will allow them to get mentorship support, connect with subject experts and develop innovative products / services to address the present challenges.

THEMES

Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV): To work as per new normal condition for supply chain

operation AGV will help a lot in any MSME.

Low cost IOT solutions: Low cost IOT solution in need of era many industries looking for

Industry monitoring, Data Analytics platform to take better decision in day to day

operations.

Digital Solution on Business Automation: Till date many industries are not completely

operating on digital solutions. The reason is they never get a Business Automation

solution for going digital. This is a new need coming from everywhere.

Health: Address and scale a range of health initiatives including preventative / hygiene.

Business: Address various issues that enterprise/ industry are facing to sustain, provide

innovation solutions to them like contactless operations, virtual management, non-

contagious operating processes etc.

Education: Alternative learning and monitoring environments and tools for students,

teachers and school / college.
