Proceeds help the Knights with many capital projects in the area. Please see any Knight for tickets or contact the rectory. Drawing will be held on September 12 at The Franciscan Friary in Howard County at 7p.m. St. Vincent de Paul Annual Toiletry Collection - September 15 & 16: Donations of toiletries for the homeless should include but not limited to medium sizes of toothpaste, soap, wash cloths, deodorant, shaving cream, etc. As always we thank you for your continued support.

COMMUNITY NOTES

BAG LUNCHES NEEDED: At Beans & Bread Center, we try to meet the many needs of the hungry and homeless in Baltimore City. In addition to feeding a hot meal to approximately 300 persons daily on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, we provide Bag Lunches instead of a hot meal on Wednesdays. Currently we are in need of 150 lunches on Wednesday, August 22 & 29. If interested contact Erin Shutt (410)732-1892 ext. 111. RCIA CAN TEACH US ABOUT THE NEW EVANGELIZATION. The Department of Evangelization will be sponsoring a series of Study Days. We gather to discuss how the vision of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults can assist in our mission of evangelization. These gatherings will be specifically geared toward pastoral staffs, RCIA teams, adult faith formation committees and parishioners that might be called to further their own work of evangelization. New All Saints will host a Study Day on Saturday, August 25, 10a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Rosa Parks Room. The 2 nearest gatherings are:

August 13, 7-9pm -- Immaculate Conception, Towson

August 16, 7-9pm -- Sacred Heart, Glyndon

Parishioners interested in attending, please contact the rectory office. Please submit name/s, parish, location you plan on attending. There is a $10 fee per participant. The deadline to register is seven days prior to each gathering. GBMC Spiritual Training Course: Greater Baltimore Medical Center offers an experiential program through their Center for Spiritual Support Training. This is a 10-week course that meets on Thursdays from 3-7 p.m., September 13-November 15. The curriculum combines group interaction along with patient visitation that focuses upon developing skills and tools, to be an effective pastoral presence with another human being as well as understanding the dynamics between health and illness within a person's environment. This course is designed for individuals who are involved in the care of the sick, hospitalized or homebound. For more information, call (443)849-2055.
