is one of the largest investment casting supplier for casting of carbon steels,

stainless steel and exotic materials in Wenzhou-Ningbo area.

We can supply also forged components, aluminium die-casting parts and mecha-

nical components as well. We are specialized in the production of casting parts for

various valves, pumps, pipes, auto accessories and food industry components.

Starting from the 1990s, deep changes have taken place in the manufacturing

industry in China, as well as the whole world while the manufacturing industry has

been gradually moved into China. Our company has seized the opportunity to

4PRODUCTION FLOW PROCESSHere below a flow chart of the typical investment cast process as performed by NINGBO TONSIN MACHINERY.

CASTING PROCESS DESIGNWork out of the casting procedure accordingto the customer’s drawing and requirements.

WAX INJECTIONUse wax injection machine to inject the

treated wax into the pattern.

SLURRY COATING AND STUCCOINGAfter cleaning the clusters, immerge them into a ceramic slurry, then conglutinate the

wax clusters with sand, and dry them. Repeate these two steps until the layers

reach the process requirements.

ROASTINGPut the shell into a firing furnace, heat it at a

fixed time by adjusting temperature.

KNOCKOUTBreak down the ceramic shell, take out the

casting and remove the remaining sand

SHOT BLASTINGCarry out surface finish in accordance with

the surface quality requirements.

INSPECTIONInspect and straighten the castings, then if

required perform special inspection (MP, RT, UT..)

MACHININGWorkshop activities

(turning, milling, drilling..) to obtain the finalshape according the drawings.

FINAL INSPECTIONCarry out final quality control and inspection

PATTERN DESIGN & MAKINGDesign the mould, make patterns and

arrange production after approval.

CLUSTERS ASSEMBLYCheck and fix the wax patterns, then

assemble them into wax clusters.

DEWAXINGPut the mold shell into a dewaxing

autoclave to melt the wax, that will betreated and recycled.

POURINGRegulate temperature and composition of

the molten steel, pour it into the fired shell.

CUTTING OFF AND GRINDINGCut off the casting feeders by a wheel

cutting machine, then grind off theremaining roots.

HEAT TREATMENTCarry out heat treatment to meet the

relevant mechanical property requirements

ACID TREATMENTUse acid wash to scour the surface of S.S.products, then make a passivation layer to

prevent the metal base body fromcorrosion.

SURFACE TREATMENTCarry out polishing, chrome plating,painting, or other surface treatment

according customer req.
