Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer for a large local Council, operating as its principal executive and adviser, Nish’s responsibilities covered all aspects of data protection and compliance with statutory duties incumbent on Councils as the 1st tier of local government.

Data discovery/audit for a global financial organisation, helping them to understand their data flows and ensuring that their data protection notices, policies and procedures are compliant. Nish was instrumental in identifying and documenting several legacy systems which retained personal data across the business, ensuring these were properly documented and managed.

Data Protection Officer for numerous further education colleges, helping them to understand how and where their data is held, ensuring it is regularly reviewed and documented, therefore maintaining accountability. Nish offers further support with the writing and reviewing of all data protection notices, policies and processes, and assisting with data breaches and individuals’ rights requests.
